With Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Midnight Madness right around the corner of Church Circle, there is nothing quite like Annapolis during the holidays. The charm is unmatched- twinkling lights on brick-lined streets, wreaths on every historic doorstep, boutique shopping, waterfront dining, and the kind of warmth that makes you want to linger a little longer.

If you’re looking for the perfect holiday day in Annapolis, here’s my personal guide to the spots I adore most, filled with cozy stops, festive flavors, and small businesses that make this city feel like home.

If romance was a coffee shop, this would be it. Ceremony tucked inside a quaint bookstore is the coziest winter morning pairing. Sip your latte, wander the shelves, and breathe in that nostalgic “small-town holiday” feeling.

Maryland Avenue shines brightest during the holidays- it’s festive, historic, and full of locally owned gems.

This fair-trade boutique is a MUST. Handcrafted finds, global artisan pieces, jewelry, textiles, accessories- all thoughtfully curated. I always find something beautiful (usually something I didn’t know I needed but absolutely adore).

And right across the street you can pick up a bottle (or two) of the best eggnog you'll ever try from Galway Bay.

Lunch & Luxe Vibes at The Choptank

When you’re ready for lunch with a view, head to The Choptank for:

This is the perfect pause in the middle of a dreamy Annapolis day- great food, gorgeous ambiance and a priceless view.
